Most Z-style midpipes on the market for the G80 M3 and G82 M4 are three-inch. That is enough for a stock or lightly tuned S58 -- but once you are running upgraded turbos, higher boost, or E85, a 3-inch mid-section becomes the narrowest point in the whole system. This 102mm Z Style Midpipe is the big-bore version: a full 102mm (4-inch) equal-length Z-layout mid-section built for cars making real power, where exhaust volume matters more than saving a kilogram of tubing.

The 102mm bore is the point. A larger cross-section drops exhaust gas velocity for the same mass flow, which reduces backpressure and lets the turbochargers work with a lower pressure ratio across the turbine -- exactly what an upgraded turbo car needs to make power without heat-soaking. The Z-layout still does its original job, equalizing runner length so pulse timing between banks is matched: that is what cancels the drone band around highway RPM, and it is why a Z-pipe sounds clean instead of hollow. Combined, you get a system that is quiet at cruise and violent under load.

Built from T304 stainless steel with mandrel-bent tubing and smooth internal transitions, hand TIG-welded with argon back-purge -- our factory runs its own liquid argon storage, so every joint is clean and oxidation-free. Factory flange patterns and hanger positions make it a direct bolt-on to the G80 M3 and G82 M4, 2021 and newer.
