The Z3 M Roadster and M Coupe are two of the most distinctive M cars BMW ever built. The Roadster was the first M-badged Z3, putting the S52 inline-six from the E36 M3 into a lightweight roadster chassis. The M Coupe -- nicknamed the Clown Shoe for its polarizing fastback profile -- took that same formula and wrapped it in one of the most unique body shapes in automotive history. Both cars share the same chassis, the same S52 or S50 engine depending on market, and the same wheel fitment derived from the E36 3 Series but with Z3-specific offset requirements.
The Z3 M's wheel fitment is unique to this chassis. The 5x120 bolt pattern is standard BMW, but the offset is specific to the Z3's narrow body and the wider rear track of the M variant. The rear wheels sit deeper in the arches than the front, and the offset must account for the semi-trailing arm rear suspension that changes camber and toe under compression. A wheel that fits an E36 M3 will not necessarily fit a Z3 M without rubbing the inner fender or poking past the arch. Our offset is measured on a real Z3 M Coupe chassis, accounting for the specific suspension geometry and the narrower body shell that the M car's wider track fills more aggressively.
Forged 6061-T6 aluminum monoblock. Available in 17-inch for a period-correct profile that matches the factory Roadstar wheel dimensions, or 18-inch for a more contemporary stance that fills the arches without overwhelming the car's compact proportions. Custom spoke design -- a deep-lip mesh that echoes the iconic factory Roadstar look, a split-spoke, or a modern motorsport profile. Brushed, polished, hyper silver, shadow chrome, satin black, bronze, gold, or custom color. The Z3 M is a collector's car now, and its wheels should honor the rarity. Machined or laser-etched logo.
