The E46 M3 is the benchmark that every M3 since has been measured against. The S54 inline-six revs past 8,000 RPM, the chassis communicates with a clarity that modern electric steering cannot replicate, and the factory wheels -- 18-inch cast for the standard car, 19-inch forged for the Competition Package and CSL -- were good for their era but leave weight on the table by modern standards. A modern forged monoblock wheel set brings the E46's unsprung mass into the 21st century while respecting the car's timeless design.
The E46 M3 has specific fitment requirements that generic BMW wheels do not meet. The front axle uses a wider track than the standard E46, with control arms and strut clearance unique to the M3. The rear axle has flared arches that were widened specifically for the M3's wider tires. The offset must clear the brake caliper, the strut housing, and the fender lip -- all while running a staggered tire setup that the DSC and chassis tuning were calibrated around. Our offset is measured on a real E46 M3 at ride height through the full steering and suspension range. The wheels sit flush without spacers, clear the factory or aftermarket big brake kits, and fill the arches the way the factory CSL wheels do.
Forged 6061-T6 aluminum monoblock. Available in 18-inch for a period-correct profile that honors the E46's original proportions, or 19-inch for a more contemporary stance that matches the Competition Package aesthetic. Custom spoke design -- a CSL-inspired split-spoke, a classic mesh, or a modern motorsport multi-spoke. Brushed, polished, satin black, gloss gunmetal, silver, hyper silver, bronze, gold, or custom color. The weight savings over the factory cast 18-inch wheels are typically 3 to 4 kilograms per corner -- unsprung, rotating mass removed from the worst possible place for handling and acceleration. Machined or laser-etched logo. Private-label packaging. Your Spec. Our Factory.
