The E36 M3 was the generation that proved BMW could build a world-class driver's car without the homologation special requirements that created the E30. The S50 and S52 inline-six engines made between 240 and 321 horsepower depending on market, the chassis was the stiffest 3 Series yet, and the factory wheels were 17-inch cast units that prioritize durability over weight. Three decades later, the E36 M3 has aged into one of the most desirable modern-classic M cars, and a set of forged monoblock wheels is the single most transformative upgrade you can bolt to it.
The E36 M3 uses a 5x120 bolt pattern with offset that is specific to the M car's wider track and flared arches. The front suspension geometry is unique to the M3 -- different control arms, different kingpin inclination, different strut-to-wheel clearance than the standard E36. A wheel with the wrong offset rubs the strut housing on the inside or pokes past the fender on the outside. Our offset is measured on a real E36 M3 chassis, accounting for the correct suspension geometry, brake caliper clearance, and fender lip clearance at full compression. The wheels bolt directly to the factory hubs without spacers and sit flush with the arches.
Forged 6061-T6 aluminum monoblock. Available in 17-inch for period-correct fitment that clears the factory M3 brake calipers and accepts modern performance tires, or 18-inch for a slightly more aggressive stance that fills the arches more completely. Custom spoke design -- a classic split-spoke that echoes the factory M Double Spoke look, a modern mesh that bridges the E36's 90s lines with contemporary wheel design, or a full custom profile to your spec. Brushed, polished, satin black, gloss gunmetal, silver, gold, bronze, or custom color match. Machined or laser-etched logo. Private-label packaging. Your Spec. Our Factory.
